The build
PingMee began the way every startup does, one app and a founder with a vision. I've been the engineer behind it from the very beginning, and I architected it from day one to become more than one product.
Today PingMee is four full-stack platforms running as a single engineered ecosystem: a consumer app for real-time social connection, a business platform with self-serve ad campaigns, an internal staff platform with a live moderation dashboard, and a marketing webapp, all speaking to one shared backend. One monorepo, one organisation, one architecture, enterprise-grade from the ground up.
This is what it looks like to take a startup from its very first line of code towards a worldwide consumer business, with me behind it on support every step of the way, ready to scale it to new heights and bring in my own professional team when the moment calls for it.

Consumer app, business platform, staff platform, and marketing webapp, all built on one shared backend: a 44-function API layer over a Postgres schema shaped by 107 migrations. Users, data, and features flow between platforms instead of living in silos.

A live map with distance-aware matching, ephemeral Moments and Live Status feeds engineered to never cache stale, real-time chat with message requests, and moderation, blocking, and reporting built in from day one, not patched in after launch.

Businesses apply, get approved, and run self-serve ad campaigns with Stripe billing, boosts, and audience reach estimation, the ad campaigns feeding the consumer product they run inside.

Production is protected: every schema change ships as a migration through preview branches, features gate behind flags, Sentry and PostHog session replay watch the whole estate, and mobile releases go out through EAS builds with over-the-air updates.

The architecture decisions were made for the global version of PingMee, not the MVP. That's why growing from one app into four platforms didn't mean a rewrite, it meant plugging in.
